 #COMPETITIONS

Competition giveaways and collaborating with other bloggers/websites:

It can be great exposure to collaborate with another blogger or website when you are just starting out or if you want to BOOST traffic and conversion. You do not have to spend a fortune and sometimes, not even a penny. If you organise a giveaway and something for the owner of the site, then usually this works well.

You must find a blogger or website in your field, your niche area otherwise it is not going to interest their readers and above all benefit you.

The benefits of a competition giveaway are:

  • There will be a link to your main website
  • You will gain social media exposure -make sure you retweet, repost and share across every platform available
  • The post about your website will be archived for future readers

When starting out, you do not need to collaborate with someone as sucessful as Zoella. Proving they have at least 10,000 followers on any of the main social platforms: Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, then you should target this caliber of blogger /site.

Start small but have big ambitions to grow, everyone starts somewhere!
